I brought home my first gecko this Sunday, and it has only eaten 5 mealworms and a cricket. He has a very healthy tail and the breeder said she last fed him Friday (2 days before i got him). On Friday she fed him 10 crickets and 20 mealworms.

Is that a lot for a gecko?

Should he be getting hungry soon?

When i fed him crickets, he ate one right when it dropped and then lifted his tail while he was looking for more, but everytime he would get near one he would lick it and when it ran away he would do nothing?

Anything sound abnormal?

The fact that your gecko is already eating that soon is a victory in itself. Nothing to worry about.
