I picked up this little sweetheart from Ryan and Val today at the hamburg show. She is a year and a half old and still only 38 grams (I think that is what they said, I didn't weigh her yet.) Just took a few quick pics with flash and put her in her toasty tub to warm up. She was a little cold in the pics but her color was amazing earlier today, maybe tomorrow when she warms up I can get some better pics.

But anyway, Val told me this girl was being eyed up by some other people she didn't really feel comfortable selling to. Considering they may try to breed her to produce "dwarfs" and she wouldn't really be able to handle the eggs. I took that as a *wink wink nudge nudge* kinda thing and decided to take her to a good home where the little freak of nature can live happily without the stress of some ignoramus trying to breed her. But I have to say that I was touched when they said they considered me trustworthy and were happy that I took her and not someone else... thanks guys that means a lot :). I don't have a name for her yet so if you have any suggestions shoot!

We were seriously so happy that you took her home. It was a big debate on whether to sell her or not, but I said I would if it was the right person. That gecko has had a very special place in my heart since the day she arrived and I have no worries that she lives with you now. She likes shiny tweezers and mealworms, and she likes to sit on your hand or your leg and just hang out. Thanks a lot Derek, it was really nice getting to meet you today!

Thanks for the tip, looks like I might have to get some shiny tweezers to replace my cruddy wooden ones lol. Likewise, it was so cool to meet you guys! Pat too, lol. Are you guys gonna be vending at other shows this year? PS: I had to kick myself after we left about an hour or so on the way back I remembered I had pics of Rumple and Dubs on my phone. I was so mad at myself for forgetting about it at the show. By the way did you guys get anything or sell any others?

She'll probably do alright with what you have once she figures out that it means food! :)

We sold a total of 4, which is actually better than I expected to do. We really can't complain since we did get to meet an awful lot of cool people and sit around and talk about reptiles all day. We only bought two things, one being a hamster and the other a little beardie. Ryan is feeding him right now and I forgot how great these guys are! We'll get pictures up at some point tonight if we both don't pass out. And no worries about the Rumple and Dubs pictures! I'm sure if anything they've just gotten fatter!

As for other shows, we'll be at the Lititz show March 17th (?) and maybe the next Hamburg.

I was checking her out too and was debating taking her and bird too, but 4 geckos was enough to explain when I got home ;) I can't just get 50 geckos at once, but adding a few here and there may just work :D

She sure was a sweet looking little girl.
