I could not pass up the BS Jungle I saw on the web. I was not looking for one 10 months old but she was so cool looking I had to get her.

I set her up in a spare bedroom for 2 days "quiet time" to get over the jet lag....and then put her in a new 15 gal tank. After about a week and eating avg of one cricket a day, she finally would come out in the open. Then the past few days she has been going back and forth from the hot to cool hide and getting adjusted.

She comes out regular now so I get to see her.

What is weird is she looks me straight in the face! My Normal never does that. Don't know what that really means......

She is getting active but not eating good yet....... but eating some. ( I have not tried every 2 days yet) As long as she seems to make progress, thats cool to me.

I want so much to take pictures but will wait till I think it want freak her out...lol. I snapped this one when she got here and then...... let her be.

I said it once and I will say it again that is a beautiful bold stripe and you got a heck of a deal on her..
My raptor use to stare at me like that whenever he wanted out, he would just sit there and stare at me until I took him out, if I didn't take him out he would mess up his cage dumping his calcium lid, pushing his hide all around and knocking his thermometer over lol..

i have noticed that, too - some of my gex are totally accustomed to looking straight at me in the face...and some aren't. It's definitely intriguing, a little unnerving, but really cool, IMO. :)
