This is my first leopard gecko Spike, We have had him 3 days. When we first got him I had the polystyrene background and Spike kept climbing up it (As shown in picture) I have since removed the background due to reading that they aren't great climbers and have trouble getting down. To reduce the chances of injury I have now replaced this with a green background.

4 weeks since my last update and this is Spike now - he has changed quite a bit since when we first got him 7 weeks ago - He is a character and loves being handled now

hes lovely great pattern. my male used to do the same thing was very funny. Spider gecko hahaha
i have read that geckos arnt great climbers either but all mine would seem to be an exception lol they are all quite good at it. iv built ledges and have logs and cork ladders they climb up to get to the top
