Hmm, got a strange case for today.
Today happened to be my first day (in my feeding schedule) where I feed my gecko vitamin-dusted mealworms. I was planning on dusting the worms with vitamin twice a week.
So, I gave the worms a slight spritz, rolled them around in the Reptivite Vitamin (without D3) powder. My gecko is immediately interested in the worm, and grabs it, yet he instantly drops the worm as soon as he bites it. Then he goes on licking around his mouth like crazy.
I'm going to assume that he didn't like the powder, but I'm not exactly sure why. Is there any way for him to eat worms covered in Reptivite vitamin dust? This dust also happens to be what I keep a capful of in the tank, since it also contains some calcium in it (the only other dust I have is ReptoCal with D3). If it's the powder that's the problem, I'm going to assume he's not going to be licking out of that powder cap :main_no:.
