alright, i have searched everywhere to avoid asking something that was already answered, but i can't find it.

i want to make my humid hide darker and to match my new rock wall. would it be okay to spray paint it black, and then seal it with mod podge? is that going to be safe for her?

any spray paint will work just give it a week or so to dry and let the fumes go away :main_thumbsup:

what kind of paint can we use

enamel paint that mimics stone we saw at Lowes. if that is ok. we read that we can use clay pottery for their hides. we also read that we can use foam as well. we used great stuff foam. we are wondering what kind of paint that we can put it on the foam that wont hurt the geckos. so if you can please help me out here. what kind of paint that will work?

I personally use liquid tempra and acrylic paint for use on foam. You should be grouting the foam first though, helps to seal and harden it, and makes it way easier to paint.
It makes it easier to water the paint down and spray it on, gives a bit of a rocky look. I personally like to take the time to paint and do all the shadow and highlight details, but not every one wants to do that.
Any spray paint should work as well, just make sure to seal whatever paint you use with a grout sealer afterwards.
If you'd like I can post pictures of my paint jobs.
