Springtails

I was reading on another forum that people use springtails in Leaf tailed gecko vivs, as they help break down waste and such. I was curious if any has done this, and would it work in other naturalistic vivariums as well? If they do I have a day gecko viv and a RETF viv that I would put them into, if they do work, does anyone know where you can get them from?
