My girl has been squinting alot as of late. She hasnt been eating very much as the squinting increased. I thought the lack of eating could be because of winter but her temps are correct and she has always been fine. She squints almost all of the time, even in the darkness of her hides. Even when i take her out and she should be adjusted to the light, she continues to squint. I dont know what i should do to try to help her or if this squinting is related to her lack of interest in her food. has anyone one else had this problem?:(

Well, the last time I noticed
one squinting it reminded me I needed to go to my
eye appointment. LOL
But other reasons seem to come from my Squinting
Blazing Blizzards. The male more so. I think the
albinos are as the other post said.....Kinda light sensitive.
Not sure about squinting in the darkness.....very sensitive ....
or perhaps got bedding in the eye. When I housed two
females together in 2007 breeding season one kicked
bedding(moss) in the others eye while digging.
Take care. HJ
