stange poo

I got my new gecko Haruko last weds. He's eaten a total of 11 crickets in between last week and today. He pooed twice in his deli cup on the day he arrived. And tonight he ate 6 lge crickets, but his poo was gold colored with a whitish urate. What could this mean?:main_huh:

That you have a leo that poops gold! Your rich! Not but really if you have vermiculite in your set up it could be that.

LOL! Gold poop would be nice...At any rate he's on paper towels. So it's not vermiculite. Thanks for responding. I have a book about reptile disorders, I'm going to look it up and see what I can find out.

Thanks Matt, It may be because he consumed calcium on an empty stomach or he may have parasites. He had a normal poo this morning but off to the vet he goes. Just in case. :main_yes:
