start the heat pack a while beforehand?

If you are sending geckos from someplace where it's in the low 30's to somewhere in the high 70's would you let the heat pack heat up for a few hours so by the time it reaches its destination the heat pack might start to cool off? It might be a bad idea but I wanted someone else's input on this.

Steve, you could let a 40 or 60 hour warm up for a few hours or you could use a hand warmer and a 40-60 hour. The hand warmer will heat up quickly but only last for 6-10 hours, before that cools down the 40-60 hour will be at a good temperature.

Thanks Jeremy. I just wouldn't want the geckos to overheat when they would reach a destination of 70-80 degrees.
