Just wanted to let everyone know that they are airing the Memorial for Steve Irwin tonight on Animal Planet at 9:00 Eastern and Pacific.

P.M. ET/PT.

(Silver Spring , MD) — Animal Planet is airing Steve Irwin's memorial service exclusively in the U.S., commercial-free, on Tuesday, September 19, from 9-10 p.m. ET/PT, with an encore broadcast airing 12-1 a.m. ET/PT. The memorial service, entitled Steve Irwin: He Changed Our World, will be a same-day broadcast (with a two-hour delay) of the event Wednesday morning in Australia.

The public memorial service for the beloved animal conservationist and television personality is being held in the "Crocoseum," a 5,500-seat stadium at Irwin's Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Australia. Members of the Irwin Family, as well as Irwin's long-time friend and producer, John Stainton, are expected to speak. Celebrities and dignitaries worldwide are expected to attend.

What a memorial, just the way Steve would have wanted it! His fathers said it best "Don't morn for Steve, Morn for the Animals!" All of us that knew what Steve stood for will miss him and what he did for this world. And for those that didn't understand him, have missed out on a lot.

Ahhh, that was tough to watch, even though it is still hard to believe that served as a reminder that, yes, he is gone, but man he did "change the world", and Bindi was unbelievable, that is the strongest little 8 year old girl I have ever seen, and it reminding me of the episode where Steve taught her about death after his dog Sui died, I am sure those words have been going through her head the last week or two. Man he will be missed. RIP Steve

I agree Bindi was amazing, I don't know any child her age that could stand there as strong as she did and not break down. She has some big shoes to fill, and by the looks of her she will fill them in, in no time.

I would also like to add to my statement above that we should not only morn for the animals, but for our children and their children, who will never know Steve Irwin in the way we did, and to know who to thank for the animals he has saved, so that we may enjoy their beauty.

I missed the memorial but I keep seeing the documentary on and the part where Terri is explaining meeting Steve, and also the part where she is giving birth to Bindi. I tried so hard not to cry. I morn for Terry of most people, it was a crazy love that I feel will hurt her heart forever. :(
