I've noticed a lot of my questions are read but not answered, my guess being it hasn't been tried. So as I have come full circle from keeping venomous snakes to the lowly Leopard Gecko I will report my little experiments.

As of this morning I quartered a F/T pinkie and tried feeding a piece to a leopard gecko with a pair of stats. It was accepted.

Regards,
Steve

I've heard of people doing it to females that lose to much weight while breeding. Don't think I would do it to often though

Killer! It does seem like it would help the gecko put on weight. I injected the mouse with vitamins. As for the comment regarding the "lowly" leopard gecko. I find them more fascinating, complex, intelligent than some of the elapids I used to keep. They are quite possibly the perfect reptile.
