Still no Egg#2?

It's now been almost two days since we found our first egg. She still has not laid a second egg. We don't want to distress her too much by seeing if she is still carrying since she is a bit timid as is. Is it common to only get one egg, if there is another egg inside of her, why would she wait this long to lay it??

If she is a first time breeder and this was her first clutch then it's totally normal to only lay one egg. I had 2 of my first timers lay only 1 egg this year for their first clutch ever. 2nd clutch was 2 eggs and both were fertile.
