Storage Bin and UTH

I recently purchased a UTH and I wanted to put my geckos in a big clear plastic storage bin. Would the UTH melt the bin? Would putting paper towels keep warmed plastic from hurting my geckos? Anything you know would be helpful.

The UTH shouldn't melt the bin, if it's hot enough to do that it's too hot for your geckos. The only trouble I've had is that the UTH doesn't stick very well to the bin.

Just to give you reference

UTH runs at about 88-95F when properly regulated

Body temperature is around 98F.

+1-A little bit of tape does the trick for keeping the uth in its place :main_thumbsup:
