Store Loyalty Sucks

So when I'm here in small town nowhere I got to a non-chain pet store specializing in reptiles, and some amphibians and inverts. I like them, they know what they are talking about and carry five sizes of crickets and other reptile munchies. They sold me my little leo and all his crickets. Unfortunately their over the phone customer service royally sucks!
First, I inquire about 2 things. I receive an e-mail reply answering one question and no mention of the other. I am left feeling brushed off. Oh well. A fluke I say, it won't happen again.
Second, I call in to inquire about hours specifically new years day hours, because my boy is running low on crickets and most places are closed. I am assured they have normal operating hours new years day. Needless to say they were closed so he'll be a bit hungry after dinner tonight but I can run in and get some more tomorrow. A misinformed employee, it happens.
Despite this I am still loyal to them over another local pet store and all chain stores. So far the good outweighs the bad and I hope it stays that way, this place is big on education and in person will answer your every question, I'd hate to have my favorite reptile place slip into the realm of another bad pet store. I conclusion, store loyalty sucks.

I wish I had a place like that. Nothing but big name chain stores here. Small places normally aren't too good with customer service when it's not face to face. Just something I've noticed.
