Strange Gecko Sound

LOL, Ok, I got another strange thing which I'm not sure what it means, and wondered if anyone has experienced this.

About 10 minutes ago I was cleaning my gecko's tank. Every time I do this, they ride on my shoulders. Actually they ride on my shoulders every day for about 10 minutes or so while I just do stuff around the house.

I could feel Sela, on my left shoulder, trying to climb my neck. Then all of a sudden I heard a sound which freaked me out. It was a sound similar to the sucking action of drawing in air between one's teeth. The did it three times really fast and I could feel her body doing something in time to the sound. I thought she was about to bite me or something, but when I went to the mirror to see what she was doing...she was just sitting there. I put my hand up and she walked right in as she always does.

Because I could only hear her and not see her, I have no idea what she did. Has anyone ever heard their gecko make a sucking type sound? And what was the situation.

PS.. for those of you who saw my thread about Lola's tail breaking... She is still doing fine. wound is almost completely closed and she has never stopped behaving as she did before her tail broke.

Yoshi has made this sound before. I am not 100% certain, but I think leos make that sound when they feel like they are going to fall.

AAhh.. That might make sense. I did feel her trying to climb my neck... which she can't do. But she rides on my shoulder every day... only today did she try to climb higher. That makes perfect sense if she thought she did not have a good grip on my neck.
