Anyone ever had a leo who liked to sleep half in there water dish "which isnt cold" with there butts hanging over the side and just there lower jaw in the water?

It's been really hot here...40 ºC = 104 ºF to be exact which is hot for canada! All my gecko's have been sleeping with their heads half in half out of the water dish. It looks rather funny, and seems to be the "popular" thing for all of them to do.

ah ok that would explain it then, she was just shipped to me this morning from cali, I have her housed by herself right now since shes a new addition "blazing blizzard" and its been really hot here n out there the last few nights so shes prolly just stabalizing body temp. That takes the worry off .

My RAPTOR slept standing in his water dish last night, gripping the side of the enclosure, weirdo.

Lol, my gecko has been doing that all day today. ^^ She'll just fall asleep on the steps into the water, well, her head half in the water. It's so cute. xD

Mine likes to splash water onto the sides of teh aqarium and then attack them. Doesn't sleep int he dish tho.

Mine only ever walks through the water dish... and more because it was in her way rather than intentionally doing it!
