Which do you prefer - with or without leaves?





Snow Enigma & Red Stripe - notice the white tipped toes on the Red Stripe. This is an indicator that the animal is Heterozygous Eclipse. Thats right, the eclipse trait is being expressed in her toes, over the dominant form. This is one of just a few examples I can think of, where a Het reccessive trait is visible in the phenotype.

Are you seeing the white toes in all your het eclipse or are you saying that the white toes is something you see in some of them. I'm only asking because I've hatched het eclipse geckos with normal toes (from one eclipse parent, so 100% het). It's definitely something I'll pay more attention to now.

Kristi, I see it in some of them, in my experience, when you see this phenotype the animal is Het Eclipse, but not all Het Eclipses display this phenotype. So its not 100%, but interesting that eclipse can trump the dominant form in the toes

That red stripe is awesome!! And I prefer the leaves on the strawberries. Awesome pick of the white and red babies next to each other too.
