stripe blizzard/patternless

Do you think it's poss to get a stripe blizzard? I'm not sure how the genes work. Is it even poss to get stripes into the blizzard or patternless gene?

Hope i can wreite this so it make sence.There are i bet striped patternless & blizzard but coz there gene take away visual patterning you just can't see it.RT new Albino eclipse patternless striped blizzard AKA (blizzrd RAPTOR) is one example of this.If you look at the pattering of some hatching pattternless i beleave you can see what may have stripe gene's and standed gene's.

Like Gazz said, they can carry the gene for Stripe/Jungle/Aberrant, but don't show it. If it were possible it'd be cool, but only if it was just a dorsal stripe and still had the regular appearance elsewhere.

That's what I thought too-a grey or white blizz with just a stripe. Is there a pic of his blizz raptor somewhere? I have trouble getting on to his websight. Do you think the raptor genes are just over running the blizzard-can you tell the leo is blizzard too?

All he has shown is a head shot. There'll be more pics in May when they become available. As far as I can tell, it looks like Blizzard with ruby red Raptor eyes. I'm thinking there'll be a lot of color on the body even though he was aiming to make them pure white.

there are the patternless redstripes.... Im not totally sure the genetics behind them, ill do some research and post it later on today though I believe they are super hypos crossed to red stripes

I would like to know how on earth RT going to tell a RAPTOR blizzard from a Albino eclipse jungle blizzard,etc,etc even a standed eclipse blazing blizzard is going to be so confuesing ??.Just coz is has albino eclipse eyed doesn't mean that it's a RAPTOR blizzard.All you that breed RAPTOR X RAPTPR know is dosen't perduce 100% RAPTOR as you get striped,reverse striped,jungles,etc and all of these are capable of getting albino eclipse eyes.This type of breeding you could also get a eclipse blazing blizzard not a tremper eclipse but a blizzard eclipse when the blizzard gene is involed if you know what i mean ?.As the blizzard gene would hide all things you need to ID it as a 100% RAPTOR that's under that blizzard gene.

And a normal partial eclipse blazing blizzard which RT RAPTOR blizzard also comes in could you really tell onr from the other if you didn't know which was which ??.

Patternless Red Stripes are made from Red Stripe x Reverse Stripe and maybe Stripe too, but I'm not sure on that one. They are not related to the Patternless at all.

Gazz, it'll be interesting to see how many people buy the Diablos. I have a feeling most will be bought by European customers.

If you are breeding you better know what genes you are working with, otherwise you may wind up dirtying the gene pool (ie Tremper albino mixed with Bell or Rainwater). Also there is going to be a huge price difference between the two morphs so that will be one way to tell. And chances are the body color/pattern will not look like a Blizzards. I say that because we have no body shots yet, so he's probably hiding something up his sleeve.

I think the Super Snow Blizzards have a lighter dorsal stripe. I've only seen pictures.

Lol man, you say it as if all Europeans were stupid! I know one person from here interested in them already, though...

I don't think that Diablos will look too different from albino eclipse blizzards, because a Diablo is... Mainly an albino eclipse blizzard. Color and pattern doesn't play a big rol in blizzards, so other traits in Raptors apart from being albinos and eclipse don't count too much. I also think that there is a genetic potential to take into account, but, if it's the color and pattern what you want, I don't see the point in getting a blizzard.

I think that the body will look, at the most, pale yellow with a white dorsal stripe. But chances are that it will look just plain yellow or white. If blizzards don't show spots I don't see why they would show stripes or other kind of pattern. Maybe Ron Tremper hasn't shown the Diablo's body because there is nothing interesting to see there and wants to keep the attention in the eyes.

Yeah I know :main_thumbsup: I was more amused than offended, lol. You're right, he's considered some kind of gecko god in Europe, but I think that is because there are not too many American breeders that export to Europe with frequency, at least not in such quantities. I'm not saying that he is bad, but there are many other good breeders that should be taken into consideration too.

Cool cool! Off the top of my head I know of four other top breeders that export... HISSS, Hot Geckos, Geckos Etc., and A&M Gecko. Yep definitely other good breeders to be considered!

I don't see how you could call the so called RAPTOR blizzad nothing other than a ruby eyed blazzing blizzard-AKA-Albino eclipse blizzard het RAPTOR as you can't see the pattern to even see if they are a RAPTOR.The only thing you know 100% is that it has RAPTOR blood.The APTOR blizzard (albino blizzard het RAPTOR) would be even worse how would you tell that from blazzing blizzard-AKA-albino blizzard ?.The blizzard gene is to strong i can't see it lettling any pattern though blizzard gene is lack of patterning.If you breed a stripe het blizzard X striped het blizzard you don't call the blizzard offsting striped blizzard you can't coz you can't see if there stripe or not under that blizzard skin they maybe jungles ?? there just blizzard het striped coz the have striped blood.

i just planning to go at italian show with my leo, only for show them...and if somebody try to convince me to sell some of my babies in italy i only reply: "sorry, i don't sell geckos here for the moment...people need to read and understand something more..."
