stripe x reverse stripe?

I've been looking into stripes a lot, but I've seen next to nothing about reverse stripes. I've come across several albino reverse stripes for sale, but very few "normal" reverse stripes-are they uncommon or something? I assume they're a selectively bred trait like stripes, so I'm curious what would be the likely results from a stripe x reverse stripe pairing? Also, I'd love to see some of your reverse stripes if any of you keep them and have pics.

I've seen some non albino reverse stripes floating around. I believe Hailey from ID Gecko and Ryan from the Clockwork Reptile Company have them now and again. Marcia from Golden Gate Geckos and Kelli from HISS might have some as well, since they breed some many leos.

If you bred a stripe x reverse stripe you'll get a bunch of different hatchlings. You'll get stripes, reverse stripes, some jungle-ish/stripe-ish, and some that might be "patternless striped." The patternless stripe may not any spotting or stripes at all, or have a little random spotting and striping. It's definitely a fun paring.

That sounds interesting, maybe I'll try and get a reverse stripe or two as well. Interesting that you should mention IDGecko and Clockwork-they're the only 2 places I saw any reverse stripes that weren't albinos. Why is it that more breeders don't have them available?

What he said, only the "Patternless" ones are the same as the "Aptor" in pattern. They are bascially "homemade hets" for RAPTOR. We have a few Reverse Stripes, but they are het albino, and carry the genes for all of the other patterns.

We hatched all Stripes, Jungles, "Patternless Stripes", and Reverse Stripes from (APTOR X Red Stripe) X APTOR/RAPTOR, and also from (Red Stripe X Reverse Stripe) X APTOR.

Here is one of the most patternless geckos from Red Stripe X Reverse Stripe. There is also a baby pic, he hatched as a Jungle, then as he grew lost the pattern. They are very fun to work with. This male is still available too. They are basically "het" for Reverse Stripe, Stripe, Jungle, and even the "Eclipse" eye-mutation.
