Strong magnets

Lots of us have the magnetic hides & love them. Does anyone know where I can purchase only the strong magnets? I've been to Lowes, hardware stores, radio shack etc with no luck.

This is housing related in case you are wondering.

What about a discovery channel shop? Or some type of kids science store I would think. I think I might know what your thinking and if not than I just had my own idea.:idea3:

I figure if you can't find it at a store look on line do a search like buy strong magnets or purchase magnets.

magnetic hide--Close, but no.

I want to make ledges that I could move around the tank. I've already attempted it with a large hollow fish rock structure & it's working. I had to use a wreath hanger magnet. Now I want to have fun & make some of my own.

i was thinking about making a magnetic hide myself actually the other day at walmart... i think i'm going to get one of those half ball foam things and some magnets then do the grout thing like from the luxury furnishings thread and see how it turns out.

The magnets are usually called Neodymium as I recall, that'll help you find them. I'd check amazon.
