Hey guys I'm new here and I created this account for this question. I have a two year old male leopard gecko. He has been in perfect health since I got him but recently A problem has come up. He has some stuck shed attached to his anal flap and I can tell it irritates him because he tries to lick/bite it but he can't reach. At first I just put more water in his humid hide and thought it would go away after the his next shed but its been like 3 or 4 sheds and it still wont come off! I grabbed it with a pair of tweezers and pulled as hard as I felt safe but Its stuck on him good. I don't know what to do I'm out of ideas if you guys don't know of anything I'm just going to take him to a vet. Thanks for any help its much appreciated!

Solid advice. Gecko sauna, soak him 10-20 minutes in 90-95 degree water in a sealed tupperware. Water should be about 1/4-1/2 inch deep so that he can lay down and keep his head above water. You can give him a paper towel to crawl onto if you're worried. Soak him once a day until it's gone. If it doesn't go away in 7-10 days I might have him checked by a vet. I would NOT pick or pull on it in any way.
