Stuck shed on a psycho Blizzard

Tippy is making me lose my dang mind!

She shed the other day, and after she had some stuck on her head and toes. I managed to get the majority of the shed off of her head. I had to literally trap her in the corner and slowly peel it off after wetting it with a q-tip. She still has some stuck on her lips and a tiny bit on her toes though

I need to get it off of her but she's such a psycho I cant! Everytime I try to pick her up she literally has a meltdown! If I do manage to get her in my hand she will take off running at the speed of sound. I'm scared she will fall and hurt herself. And I cant try to get the stuck shed off of her without lifting her to eye level. I'm scared she is going to drop her tail. She already has a regen tail tip

I've tried putting her in a tupperware container to get the shed off; but she kept freaking out and trying to climb out and bashing her face against the sides

She just doesnt stay still long enough for me to do anything.

Even when I am just trying to do poop removal in her tank, she is frantically running along the edge of the glass trying to get away from me

I'm still putting my hand in her tank everyday to try to get her used to me. I'm about to give up though. She was totally fine the first few days...I dont get why she turned crazy

I'm at a loss as to what to do with her :( :(

I need to get a video of her flipping out so you can see how bad it actually is

Advice on how to get the shed off is greatly needed. Thanks

Put her in some warm water up to her belly and let her soak in it for 10-15 min.then use a Qtip and rub it on her toes, that should get it off and you won't even have to hold her to do it.Good luck

You also can try and really need it anyway is warm wet (not soaked) moss in her hide making sure to re-wet it every 2 days. You may already be doing this but since you didn't say it was the first thing that came to my mind.

Ya, I hate it when they squirm.
I always get scared that they are gunna drop their tails over nothing.
do you have any abrasive stones in your encloser for her to rub on?

Yea, she has a moist hide. Doesnt seem to use it much though :(

No, she doesnt have any rough stones. She does have a log hide though

I'm going to try a few more things today to get it off of her

Thanks for the suggestions everyone :)
