Stuck shed on corner of eye lid?

My baby leo had a bit of shed left on the top of his/her head so I helped him off with it yesterday. However a very teeny tiny piece remained on the corner of his upper eyelid. Very tiny. I left it alone and checked it again tonight. Still there.
So I tried taking it off on my own again, thankfully he's being very tolerable, and I can barely barely get ahold of it with my fingernails but I can't get it off. I then tried a damp paper towel corner to "massage" it out. Nope - no go.

What now? Let it be? It's the tiniest little speck.

Thanks!

Just a quick update - I finally got that little piece off - like 5 days later. It never did bother him and he could stll open and close his eyes just fine. Finally with a wet enough Q-tip I got it off. (that didnt work the first time I tried but now it finally did).

And now he's getting ready to shed again so we'll see how it goes. He never wants to go into his humid hide though. The first time I saw him shed he used it but now he just hangs out wherever. grrr

Here's hoping for a good shed this time!

you may want to change substrates in the humid hide.. he may just not like it's setup..

i have a female blizzard that always has eye shed problems.. i have to q-tip her at least once a month.. it's actually in her eye though which is even worse..
