Styrofoam Help.Please.

Okay, so after seeing the many designs on the forums with styrofoam, I really want to build one for Fio (my leopard gecko.) I just have a few questions.

Where can I buy styrofoam in large pieces?
What is safe to paint it with?
Where can I buy grout?
What kind of sealant should I use?

I have a 10 gallon tank, so that's 20L x 10D x 10H.

2. Acrylic or Cement Paint works well.
3. Home Depot or Lowe's
4. Acrylic Non-Toxis sealant is suggested.

Go there and check out all the videos. He tells you everything you need and shows you how to do it. My girlfriend and I are almost done with our creation, we just need to seal it now which I will start doing today. Hopefully I'll have pics posted of it in a few days.

Can I throw a question in here? I'm in the middle of mine, do you cover the back with grout?

as for covering the back with grout thats kinda up to u... I did not cover my back and it seems fine but mine is screwed into wood on the back.

But my personal opinion is that u do not have to cover the back of the foam with grout.

I covered my whole creation with grout. all sides. I didn't want to have a somewhat unprotected area that could get ripped easily.

Haha all in due time my friends. I'm waiting for it to be completely done and ready to be in-tank to post up ALL of the pictures from the start to finish. . Either tomorrow or thursday they will be up. Just look for the post in the housing section.
