Substrate question

Currently I am using repticarpet and it works just fine, however it is not aesthetically pleasing. I was wondering if anyone could link me to a good site that sells tile because i think that would look much better compared to carpet.

ya home depot for sure has lots of kinds of slate tiles for very cheap, i just had the carpet as well and just now switched to the slate, i had to get 2 tiles and chip them away till they fit together witch gave it a pretty cool look too, a whole lot more east to work with by hand than i thought

when placing them in the tank should i put something underneath them too?

You can also use VINYL tile. Its cheap, EASY to clean, and conducts heat very well.
