I have a panther gecko and have been using sand for substrate but have been reading a lot of people saying the risk of impaction is very high so I would rather get reptile carpet instead of risking it I have him in a 10 gallon tank and was wondering how much it would cost for reptile carpet for that size?

Reptile carpet is pretty cheap, so you're probably looking at $10 at the most, and they come in packs of 2-3.

I like going with tiles or slate. They're pretty cheap at home depot too.
