Ok guys, I'm sure this is a long shot, but I thought I would give it a try. I am looking for a summer internship for this summer. I haven't had much luck finding one in the area I would like to get into. Just a little background: I am a junior at Northern Illinois University majoring in Finance. I am looking for some type of corporate finance internship in the Chicago-land area. I was offered a sales position with Northwestern Mutual, but I turned that down because I am not taking all of these business classes to pursuade people to give me money on the phone all day (although they pay REALLY well). So, I am basically asking if anyone works for a company offering this type of position, know of a company offering this position, or can even give me ideas of companies I could look into. I really appreciate anyone's help on this!
