so... how does one create sunglows/hybinos from scratch if it isn't as simple as crossing a S/HTCT with an albino? all the threads i've read pertaining to the topic are rather vague.

so... how does one create sunglows/hybinos from scratch if it isn't as simple as crossing a S/HTCT with an albino? all the threads i've read pertaining to the topic are rather vague.

The key is, you'd have to cross the offspring from that pairing. Here's an example:

Year 1 = SHTCTB x Albino
Year 2 = Above Offspring x Albino or Above Offspring x Above Offspring

You could naturally speed up this process by pairing the following, which would give you Sunglows/Hybinos:

1.) SHTCTB het Tremper Albino x Tremper Albino
2.) SHTCTB het Bell Albino x Bell Albino
3.) SHTCTB het Las Vegas Albino x LasVegas Albino

Just make sure that it's a Tremper x het Tremper, LV x het LV or Bell x het Bell crossing. The reason being that the albino strains aren't compatible and you'll otherwise end up with double hets.
