Short story: Got a new male today.

Long story: Went to the Wheaton show today and found a booth with a guy selling all his animals for best offer because he has to move to California. He had two leos: a sunglow and a snow. Ends up they are from Urban Gecko, as if the snow's gorgeous pattern wasn't enough to tempt me. So His daughter starts talking to me saying how friendly the two are and I tell her about mine. I mention that I only have $3 with me at the moment and am otherwise broke in general. She tells me "Don't worry. Come back in an hour and if he's still here, he's yours." Dad looked super nervous. And I didn't intend to come back anyway. However, my friend marches over and pays the man and says "Happy Birthday" and then proceeded to buy me a heating pad while her Boyfriend secured me a new terrarium.

Uh... WIN!

Pics tomorrow!

Congrats! I wish I could have made the show yesterday, but I'm saving every penny until Tinley.:)

Apologies.

Pics tomorrow or sometime this week.

I came home tonight to see this dude in his temporary bin. I look at him, he cranes his neck to look at me with that leo grin. What's he do? Jumps and snaps at me! This boy has learned some interesting manners.

He did eat tonight and last night. I gave him meal worms tonight, but he kept missing them... almost like he's not used to eating them. He'd stop just short of catching one. He definitely doesn't look like an enigma to me though. I think he's getting ready to shed too.

Some pics of my new boy. He still doesn't have a name, but his old owners called him Cookies and Cream.
