looks like someone needs to stop drawing on there gecko. on the other hand if its real that pretty cool lookin, but i still say stop playing the the marker

Looks like the real deal, they often have the orange halo around the black blotch. Some start out orange and the majority of the mark turns black, leaving the orange halo. Here are some starting out, the one on the back of the tang's neck is starting to darken in the center.

Is this paradox spot a good or a bad thing? This is my Hypo Tangerine Female. She is 3 years old and has a mark on the side of her neck.

I got a high yellow with this type of mark. You can see it's just pop up after a few months. And all other spots are loosing color at the same time:

Neither good nor bad, just depends on personal preference. Most people would probably see it as a good thing as it is relatively unusual (and has no effect on the gecko's health) but as far as I know I don't think it is known to be a genetic trait.
