I'm looking to start a super raptor project and I'm currently shopping around for mack snow raptors and I've found a bit of difference concerning pricing from a couple major breeders as well as cost of a super raptor once produced. One site is selling a super raptor for 1400 while another is selling for 350. Quite the difference. The mack snow raptors I'm looking to buy are 300 each. I do have to say the $350 super raptor was showing some slight yellowing so it is not quite as snow white as the $1400 dollar one which I figure would account for some mark down but it still seems extreme to me.

I just like to know what others think a fair price for mack snow raptors or super raptors may be. Send me a pmsg if you'd rather dicuss this privately.

As far as I know super raptors are not supposed to have a yellow tinge.I know DB's have yellow tinges but if a super raptor has a yellow tinge then its not a super raptor..U have to be careful. the only way to tell a super raptor and a DB is from their lineag info from the breeder. If u are paying $300 for an mack snow raptor your overpaying.Up here in canada i sell mack snow raptors with both their eyes red for $125-150

That is partially true, I have seen some super raptors that are solid white...but I have one and there is a faint appearance of super snow albino pattern in the white. But it is extremely faded

Thats what I think, a super raptor doesn´t have to be completely patternless and white.
You also name a Banded Raptor a Banded Raptor so a Super Raptro from breeding a banded MSR to a banded MSR most likely will develope pattern but still it will be an Eclipse Tremper Super Snow which ppl would name a Super Raptor (or you name it Super Patterned Raptor:)

For the price it realy depends on how well known the breeder is but on the Super Raptors also on the size and genders. I know that some ppl would pay 1 grand for an adult male but won´t pay 200 bucks for a 20 gramms female.

To the Mack Raptors, it also depends on the Size. If I want a pair of adult patternles stripe Mack Raptors I will have to pay 600-800 bucks and I think as they are ready to breed its a fair price. If you would get banded or striped 30 grammers, its way overpriced.

All in all I would rather invest into some good looking patty stripe Mack Raptors than in the Super Raptors. This way you know the background of the supers you will hatch.

I myself produced 3 Super Raptors which all have a realy light pattern as I only had striped breeders. This year I will breed with PS MSR breeders thought.

Take care
Thorsten
