I live in TX, and I want to go to the Super Reptile Show in San Diego. I'm due for a vacation and my birthday is on the Friday before the show so it would be a great little trip. Plus I found a great resort spa hotel and I love the spa! (I'm a spa addict!) At any rate I checked out the vendor list and it sounds like it's going to be awesome!! My worry is how am I going to get my reptiles home? I know I can't take them on the plane. I've flown with my cat before, but I know it's different with reptiles. Could I have them shipped 2 me from California or maybe I could make arrangements with the breeder to have them shipped to me at the time of purchase, provided that the breeder ships, of course. At any rate has anyone else done this and how did your reptiles get home? Thanks for any feedback or advice.:main_thumbsup:

I have flown with reptiles before. Same thing applies in that you need to be able to secure the animals (non-venomous of course) and can not open it the entire time at the terminal and of course on the plane.

Heck, I even flew with fishes as carry on. Each airline is a little different, but generally mirrors each other. Give them a call.

Thanks for responding! I'll check different airlines and their policies! When I flew Delta it was an issue. But they're are several other airlines available.
