Super weight gain

I weighed my Super Giant female last week and then again this week. There was a 12 gram increase. Should I get a new scale? Something seems way off, is that even possible?

**By the way she is gravid as far as I can tell.

It's definitely possible. If she's eating normally and producing eggs... My average clutch weight is 8 grams and I've had females gain about as much as yours in a week most of which is from the eggs.

They are called Super Giants for a reason. They can pack on weight very fast. My younger giant male gained 10 grams in 8 days.. If it's an Albino giant; I've found (at least in mine that they tend to plateau off around 35-35 grams for a month or two and then start climbing again.

My leo isn't even a giant and she has gained 9 grams in 10 days before.
