Super worms?

Okay I am using a super worm filter system to breed super worms soon i am gonna use 1/4 in mesh or maybe its 1/2 in idk i well measure it soon i think each square is 1/4in is this okay?

No the beetles lay eggs when the babys hatch they go to the bottom where the screen with 1/4-1/2 in squares are and they fall threw into the small worm box and i need to know if the oat meal is all gonna fall threw when the beetles walk cuz i dont want all the oat meal to fall threw the mesh.

I don't use a screen at all. Some people like them but for me it's more trouble than its worth. Everything will go thru 1/2" screen, even the beetles. Old fashioned rolled oats should be okay on 1/4". Quick cook kind has smaller oat flakes and would fall thru.

I'd give you some pointers, but I've just had my first 4 make the transformation to pupa over the last 24 hours.
