Superworm breeding journal

Well since im starting to breed superworms I figured I could make like a care sheet type of info incase anyone else has any questions about it.

10/21/07: Separated 48 worms to pupate. As of 10/28/07 20 have pupated.

They are being bedded on oatmeal and being fed carrots and little bits of gutload because they will eat the oatmeal also.I will keep everyone updated on the dates of when they become beetles and when i start seeing the small worms.

cool, i just put aside several superworms to pupate. I was wondering how many would be actually necessary? The last thing I want is way too many of them.

Do they take longer to morph into beetles and reproduce then mealworms?

I put aside 48 and ussaully it takes 2 weeks after they pupate to become beetles and then they dont start breeding for 2 more weeks then i think about a month 1/2 before u see small worms.
