Hello,

I'm a new LG owner of about a month now and he's be doing good with mealworms. I was looking into getting some superworms for him and read that they can be kept at room termparture. My house gets down to the low 60s during the winter and I wondered if this would be too cold for them. I really don't want to have worry about getting a heat source for them.

Room temp if fine, you just can't put them in the fridge like some people do with butterworms or mealworms or they'll die. Just keep them in a little shoe box sized tote with oatmeal and make sure they have a moisture source (I use carrott, celery or potato) or they will eat each other o_O I put fresh food in every 2 days to prevent mold. I buy them 1000 at a time and they live for months.
