Helllo , so im new to superworms, I picked up a few at my.local pet store to test them. I fed them to two of my geckos and they both ate them fine and everything. The problem is the worms are large and the next night I heard a puffing like noise (ive heard this once before) its from one of my geckos trying to poop...I immediatly got up and all that was there was a urate...keep in mind its been roughly 24 hrs since the worm feeding. The following morning my other gecko had just a urate. I checked the first gecko and the stomach looked normal no darker colors or sign of impaction. Now i am stumped...I will be.giving them baths later today but idk what to do about superworms. Both of these gexkos stopped eating mealworms and crix hence why I tried supers. One of my geckos isnt adult but maybe few months fron one year old and the other i am pretty sure is at least a year. I need to get a scale so I can guess these guys ages but anyways any and all comments are appreciated

I feed my adults and larger subadults super worms. 2 every other day usually. Sometimes I space it a little longer like every third day or my laying females I have started giving 3 or 4 every other day to keep their weight up.
All of them poop just fine and have had no problems. Many breeders and keepers use supers as a staple diet.

Like others have said give it more time :)
