My little girl, a Enigma Tangerine, take her first Superworm meal. I was scared because she is only 19g and I thought that she couldn't take a Superworm. She ate two of them. She was raised with Crickets, but she didn't think twice with the Superworm. The thing is that she only took 2 of them. My only concern is if 2 are enough for her. The fact is that she looks satisfied. :main_laugh:

How big were the super worms?

I feed my hatchlings small supers (mediums as soon as my shipment arrives), and they are about the size of a good sized meal worm or maybe a hair bigger.

If the supers you are feeding are large, then two is MORE than enough.:D

Well, I pick the smallest that I could find in the batch for her, maybe 1" or 1 1/4". Since was the first time, I didn't want to scare her with the monster ones:main_laugh:.

Superworms are more filling than crickets, when i feed crickets mine can easily eat 10 big ones if not more and with worms about 4 or 5 large worms and they are fine and full. I feed a variety of worms&crickets and soon roaches when they start breeding. Just make sure all insects you feed are very well gutloaded for your gecko or geckos.

Thanks for the comments. I'm also starting a colony of roaches (Dubia) for them. I think the key for healthy Geckos is the variety of good food and a good gutload before feeding.
