Any advice as to controlling the stench of superworms? Every time I open the container, its like I just moved beside a landfill. Really looking for any suggestions at all x.X

As long as you promptly remove any dead ones they shouldn't stink.

I sift through the bedding about every 2-3 days, and rarely find dead ones. Any that I do are removed of course.

Should I start doing it every day? :/ I also change the bedding about every 2 weeks.

That's weird, I don't know what to tell you. My crickets stink, lateralis roaches have a bit of a funk to them, but my supers and mealies are pretty much odorless. :main_huh:

Weird.

My supers only stink when theirs a few dead ones. Are they receiving enough ventilation or is there any old fruit that can cause mold?

A few causes when mine stink are too much moisture in the container, dead meal worms and rotten food.

I keep my supers in a large container that has high enough sides that they can not get out and place water gel crystals on a butter container lid to keep the gel away from the chicken mash. I do not keep a lid on them, if you must keep a lid on them, try adding more ventilation. Since I have started using no lid on the container and placing the water gel on a lid in the container I have not had any bad smells
