Hey,, Just wondering how big my leo should be before trying to feed him superworms? Are superworms even good for them?

I would say at around 3 or 4 months should be fine. They say supers are good because there's more meat to exoskeleton ratio verses mealies.
So, yes, they're a great feeder! :main_thumbsup:

I wouldnt feed a gecko less than 50g a full grown superworm. You can feed baby supers and juvies to smaller geckos though. They are a decent feeder, good for putting weight on an animal. Be careful though, they can and will bite you or your gecko..especially the big ones.. and if bitten in the wrong place, it could cause serious health issues.

My leo has been on supers from the breeder for a while now and he's only 35-40-ish grams and 7 mos old. If you feed supers should you hand feed them insted of bowl feed? Also if you do hand feed should you feed head first or butt first (The super worm that is)?
