Supplemental feeders

I have several leos all in good health and good eaters, but have had issues recently with my local pet store getting crickets in stock. I live in an apt where I can't get them shipped to me directly, and am trying to find a friend who will let me send them to their house. Until that time I was wondering if freeze-dried crickets are a decent supplement to the live crickets I am able to get. The diet will still be 60-75% live but I know they'll be more full and happy if I can feed them more. I've never really used freeze-dried and was wondering what your experience with them is.

Freeze dried is a no go for me, my leos feed on movement. I've never seen leos go for dead mealies or crickets.

Hope that helps

Well I can fix the movement issue. I had a frog that I had no choice but to feed freeze-dried crickets for a while because I rescued him and he hadn't been treated well before, so had bone issues and couldn't really hunt down his food (and I wanted to keep him stimulated to some degree instead of some sort of slurry recipie.) My main question was about the nutritional value of them in general (the frog seemed to do okay, but with him it was kinda the only choice I had and I supplemented a bit for him.)
