Swallowing Problems?

So I have a Leopard Gecko of course, and as I'm staying up later in the semester due to school work, I'm awake during more hours as he is. And I'm noticing, at least tonight, it seems like he's having trouble swallowing? Not his food, but water. And he keeps doing the swallowing repeatedly. Is this a problem, or am I just paranoid? Thanks for any help in advance.

What do you mean he is doing the swallowing repeatedly? Geckos tend to do things more than once when they do it, besides yawning. I don't see why water would be an issue and food isn't. I guess try and describe it better?

I don't really know a way to describe it better than that, just swallowing repeatedly but for an extended period of time and with his neck puffed out slightly. The more I think on it in the daylight, it was probably just sleepless paranoia, but thank you for the help anyways.
