Greetings,
We are having some issues with our ~4 year old leopard gecko. His home is a 20gallon long tank, with a warm hide at 88-92 degrees, a humid hide and a cool hide. The substrate is tile and we keep his home very clean. Loki normally eats crickets and mealworms, gut loaded and coated with calcium. A few months ago he began to refuse the crickets, and now eats only mealworms(I attempt to feed crickets every so often to see if his disposition has changed).
Recently it seems his head has started swelling. Until today it was completely symmetrical. He has continued to eat, and shows no signs of distress or discomfort. I have attached the best pictures we could get. Today it seems to have gotten even worse, and is no longer symmetrical. It appears that on one side he isn't able to close his jaw completely.
He hasn't lost any weight since switching feeders, and is still at about 90g. He's always maintained this weight, despite a large appetite.
We are unsure of what is going on with him, and if there is anything we can do to help.
