African Fat Tailed Geckos can be very tricky to get to switch to mealworms. I have had some luck with the babies. Some have already learned to eat out of the dish, but some dont know when to stop eating and will 're-gurge' but im sure they will catch on soon. Also two of my adults were quick to switch, wasting no time to eat a bowl of mealies.
Now here is the question. How long should I let the geckos that are reluctant to eat mealies go without food until i offer them crickets again? Please i need opinions for both hatchlings and adults.
I am using petri dishes until I know they are eating mealworms for sure.
