I adopted a 10yo female leo a couple weeks ago. She had never been taken out of her cage in those ten years but she seemed in decent health. No signs of mbd. She had been fed dusted crickets but had been on calci-sand (boo!). She has already fattened up quite a bit since I got her. She is very jumpy but is slowly calming down as I handle her a bit each day.
Today, I just noticed that one back thigh is swollen to almost twice the size of her other thigh. I don't know if it has been that way since I got her but I'm guessing it has. I have an appt with the reptile vet tomorrow but wondered if any of you have seen anything similar or had any ideas.
