Swollen Belly after eating Shed?

Hi there! My gecko Tokai's always been a pretty healthy eater, and I can usually feed her with tongs. This week she didn't eat much, even her favorite superworms, and I didn't expect her to, because I knew she was starting to shed, and Tuesday night I in fact saw her finishing off the last of her tail-shed. So yesterday I put in a few crickets. They're all gone, and this morning I cleared up the poop from the litter corner, which looked normal too.

I thought everything was back to normal, but today I just took her out to do my weekly weigh-in and checkup after a shed, and though everything looked fine re: the shed and her weight was normal (73 g) I noticed that her belly seems swollen/rounded around her hind legs. It's also kind of soft. I tried to lift her up to check underneath and it looks like there's no black marks or anything, but I am kind of worried about the swollen stomach.

She has fresh water daily, and food semi-daily, and I've cleaned her cage and dishes recently with wipeout, so I don't know what's wrong. Can anybody help? Is it possible to overfeed? Is it just she's digesting the shed? Is it that the temps. in Boston went from the mid-60's to the mid-70's practically overnight?

I don't think it's calcium issues because she walks fine, and temps in her tank have stayed relatively stable around 90-92 F.

Thanks.

So guys, this is embarassing, but roger was right!

I took her to the vet today because I was worried because there had started being kind of crystals in her urine/feces and she was still swollen and hadn't been eating very much since Saturday, and it turns out she is gravid! The crystals were from a little bit of lack of water since a lot of the water went into the calcium for the eggs, the vet said; I'm soaking her daily on their advice until she lays the eggs and giving her gecko "soup" since she doesn't seem that interested in food.

But she has never mated, and I didn't know that female leos just....spontaneously generated unfertilized eggs yearly. Nothing I ever read about leos anywhere talked about that! Crazy, huh? But at least I am not worried anymore and know this is a normal occurrence.

Thanks so much, roger! :)

either she was bred to a male or she can also lay eggs without being bred.Just let her lay the eggs and keep her clacium intake up.Once she lays her appetite will come back
