Swollen eyes on leopard gecko

Hi,

I am new to this forum and I hope that someone will guide me in to what I need to do to help my Gecko.

Behind his left eye he has a lump and I could tell his eye was swollen from it. I picked him up the other day and there was fluid coming out of the right eye. He is not eating and I am worried that we are going to lose him.

Take him to a reptile vet ASAP.

Also, you can fill this out if you want ideas ahead of time about what might be wrong or to make sure your husbandry is correct: http://geckoforums.net/f130-health-medications/70912.htm But there's nothing we or you can do if there's an eye infection. The gecko needs to see a vet.

I would agree with getting him to a vet ASAP. Fluid and lack of appetite are not good and advice cannot compare with hands on treatment. If he has an infection - and it sounds as if he may - no amount of advice will help, he needs medication and treatment.

That's probably an infection and they can be lethal. The abscess needs to be drained and you need antibiotics.
