I have this friend that I've known FOREVER a 5years ago she had a baby and told me I was going to be the godmother. I was over-joyed by the news but was shut down when she told me her boyfriend said he wanted his friends that were a couple to be the godparents. They were a bunch of ghetto-ass' with no lives. They smoked weed, dropped out of school for the hell of it and the "godfather" used to beat his girlfriend, what great godparents, right? Why because HER BOYFRIEND wanted HIS friends to be godparents. Well guess what they never went through with it. A few months ago she came to me and told me that we were going to baptize her daughter and she choose me as the godmother and her now "baby daddy" picked the godfather, I don't approve but it's him or wait until his 13year old brother turns 16 :main_lipsrsealed: .
Anyway like 2weeks ago she told me she was planning it for May 17th, I agreed and I've been searching for my confirmation certificate ever since. I've been trying to get into contact with her to ask her if she could pass by the church and see if they would be willing to open my file because I did my communion and confirmation in the same church. She said she'd see but never called me back or texted me. It's MAY 16! and I'm calling her non - stop and texting her and I can't get one response, OBVIOUSLY it isn't happening tomorrow. And I don't appreciate how her father decided to go out and buy the dress and everything when my friend agreed that we would go together and make it a girls shopping date BUT NO he had to do it himself. At this point I'm really PISSED OFF! How do you plan stuff with me but don't keep me informed and when I contact you your no where to be found. It's sad that her own daughter says mommy when am I going to get baptized!?
