Yesterday i acquired a tremper albino from a tag sale. He is very skinny but his tail is not completely wasted, there's still a bit there. The girl who sold him said she had been breeding him all season and that's why he was so thin. I took him home and weighed and measured him, he's about 9 1/2 inches and 50 grams. He looks like a possible giant because his head is HUGE. He had some stuck shed on his toes so i gave him a soak in luke warm water for a little while and then fed him 3 mealworms. (I didn't want to give him too much since he obviously hasn't eaten in a while.) So this morning when i went to his cage there was some loose stool but not completely runny. there were no worms and it smelt like normal leopard gecko feces. i was just wondering if the loose stool could be from the stress, from the bath, or from not eating for a while? possibly all these factors combined? He doesn't look to be lethargic and is very bright eyed and spunky. His setup is also perfect, he's being kept like my other leo. Should I wait it out a little while and see if it hardens up before I bring him to the vet to check for parasites?
